Now Hiring a Maintenance Technician
The HRA of Clay County seeks a full-time employee to perform general building and grounds maintenance activities on its rental units in Clay County. Position duties and responsibilities include preparing units for occupancy at turnover; light plumbing, electrical, carpentry and locksmith activities; as well as year-round building and grounds maintenance. Must be available for a rotating on-call schedule for weekend and evening emergencies.
Ideal candidate will have general and preventive maintenance experience; good communication skills; familiarity with hand and power tools; and the ability to work well with diverse populations. Minimum of 2 years related experience preferred; a high school diploma; ability to pass a criminal background check; and a valid driver’s license. Normal hours are 8-4:30, M-F.

Pay: $21.74 - $26.28 per hour
