SUPPORTIVE SERVICES SPECIALIST

The HRA of Clay County seeks employees for existing and newly created positions to assist low-income households obtain and maintain housing. Ideal candidates will have a goal of making a difference in the lives of others; service to the community; ability to work well with the public; excellent attention to detail; thrive while working under pressure; and the ability to work well with diverse populations. Prior related property management, social services, or lived experience or education preferred, but not required.

Requires a high school diploma or GED; ability to pass a criminal background check; and a valid driver’s license. Pay range is $21.85 to $28.93 per hour with excellent benefits package including 21 days per year of PTO, 12 paid holidays, 100% employer-paid single health, dental, and life insurance. Family medical, dental, vision, disability, additional life insurance, and other benefits available. Normal hours are 8-4:30, M-F.

CLAY COUNTY HOUSING & REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

The Clay County HRA Board of Commissioners is seeking individuals who are willing to serve on its board. If interested, please complete the HRA Commissioner Application and mail it to Clay County HRA, Attention: Executive Director, PO BOX 99, Dilworth, MN 56529. The Clay County HRA is governed by a 5- to 7-member Board of Commissioners. Commissioners must reside in Clay County, MN. HRA Commissioners are appointed by the Clay County Commission to 5-year terms. The mission of the Clay County HRA is to strengthen and revitalize communities by providing development opportunities, quality housing and services. Its values are leadership, knowledge, collaboration, service, and making a difference.

This is a volunteer position. Commissioners are reimbursed for mileage and paid a per diem. Persons of varied backgrounds are encouraged to participate. Those interested in the position should submit the application no later than Thursday, March 20, 2025.
